
Samsung is set to host its annual AI forum online next month

To share experts’ insights on future technologies, especially AI and other related human-like algorithms in these times of pandemic, Samsung Electronics has announced that it would be holding an artificial intelligence (AI) forum online next month.
According to the reports of Yonhap news agency, the tech giant said that the ‘Samsung AI Forum 2020’ will take place online on its YouTube channel (November 2nd and 3rd). This will be the fourth annual forum of Samsung wherein, AI researchers get a platform to discuss their findings and ideas on the future of AI.
The opening day sessions would be hosted by Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) under the theme of “AI Technologies for Changes in the Real World.” While the opening remarks would be given by Kim Ki-nam, the CEO and head of Samsung’s device solutions business division.
“We hope that Samsung AI Forum 2020 will contribute to enhanced understanding of AI technology developments and its applications that can bring positive impact to human lives,” Sebastian Seung, head of Samsung Research, said. “Especially since this year’s forum will be held online, I hope that the event will be an opportunity for greater participation of those interested in AI technologies.”
